The Magical Worldview is a Zine written as an Imagining of the Cosmic Landscape of the Arising -- or Playing Field of Creation -- from the View of the Throne-Seat in the Heart.
This production tackles the question of how to bring the practice of the Dharma + Astrology -- synonymous, in my understanding, with Neoplatonic Theurgy -- into the heart and embody it, as opposed to theorizing and studying it. One answer to this question is to take the practice off-the-mat and off-the-page and to learn to recognize the things we study on paper in the landscape of the arising -- or field -- that surrounds us.
The Magical Worldview is intended to be a New Age Vaudeville with water-colored details aimed to inspire friends to read the Original Source documents, and to seek out Qualified Teachers, Lamas and connections to the living-lineage of the Dharma. I do not pretend to be that. I consider myself a student of the Great Mystery, and a somewhat naive one at that.
My intention here is a movable afternoon tea party with friends, and a delightful conversation about love, magic, music, stars, and wonder -- and bringing the fire of irreversible faith to meet the everyday challenges that arise in our personal playing field, and collectively -- in the greater world we share. This story is, admittedly, told by an imperfect me. However, my hope is that you will see in my description of phenomena, a correspondence with the Characters, songs, stories and art that bring you home to the happy-place in your heart! May All Beings find True Happiness and its Causes!
