Star Charts + Tarot Readings + Art — by Lily Walker, Esoteric Astrologer

At the moment of your birth, the Sun, Moon, and wandering planets cast a unique celestial image against the backdrop of the fixed stars—a celestial impression, like a cyanotype, or Sun-print of the heavens.
In the Hermetic science of correspondence, that which is Above corresponds with that which is Below. The heavens are not merely a backdrop to human life, but a symbolic language through which we may come to understand the patterns unfolding here on Earth.
The planets describe different dimensions of human experience and, through their placement and relationships in your natal chart, indicate how these themes may manifest in multiple levels of your life experience—from the tangible circumstances of embodied life to deeper psychological, karmic, and spiritual realities.
PLANETARY CORRESPONDENCES
☉ Sun — Character, vitality, confidence, creativity, strength of heart, the father, marriage partners (for females).
☽ Moon — Body, feelings, instincts, habits, nourishment, belonging, home and family, the mother, and marriage partners (for males).
☿ Mercury — Mind, learning, communication, intelligence, education, resourcefulness, siblings, youth, commerce, messages, movement, and the workings of the intellect.
♀ Venus — Love, attraction, beauty, pleasure, sensuality, sexuality, values, adornment, luxury, relationships, young females, magnetism, and desire.
♂ Mars — Action, courage, ambition, conflict, anger, desire, the warrior spirit, acute conditions, accidents, threats of harm, and the force of will.
♃ Jupiter — Meaning, philosophy, faith, worldview, hope, generosity, expansion, opportunity, good fortune, higher learning, and the search for wisdom.
♄ Saturn — Structure, limits, discipline, maturity, hard work, time, endings, hardship, containment, the bones, and the work of bringing things into lasting form.
From these planetary correspondences, the chart speaks to the General Life Situation, including:
Resources & Wealth · Vocation · Relationships · Children · Home & Family · Travel & Higher Learning · Friends & Community · Hidden Enemies · Illness · Fear · Trauma · Death & Endings
The chart can therefore help us ask:
What are my essential strengths and challenges? What patterns shape my relationships? How do I work, create, earn, love, communicate, and belong? Where does life tend to open for me, and where does it demand discipline, courage, or transformation?
ESOTERIC INDICATORS
The natal chart also contains a deeper layer beyond the circumstances of ordinary life.
The Esoteric dimension explores past-life imprints, karmic patterns, soul curriculum, and the Daimon—the planetary intelligence or guiding spirit associated with the native.
These indications allow us to look beneath what happens toward questions of meaning, purpose, recurrence, and spiritual development:
What am I here to learn? What patterns have I carried forward? What is this life asking me to develop? Why do certain themes repeat? What is the deeper curriculum of this incarnation? What planetary intelligence accompanies and guides me?
